First Aid Initial & Recurrent Training

The First Aid Initial & Recurrent Training course provides indispensable knowledge and skills to provide first aid quickly and effectively in emergency situations. This training is aimed at aviation employees who need to take life-saving measures in an emergency. The seminar includes initial training as well as periodic refresher training to ensure that participants are always up to date with the latest first aid practices.

During the seminar, the following topics will be covered:

Fundamentals of First Aid
Participants will learn the basic principles of first aid, including recognizing emergencies, assessing injuries and illnesses, and safely approaching various emergency situations.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
This training teaches life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques to maintain blood flow and oxygenation to a person in cardiac arrest.

Injury Management
Participants learn how to control bleeding, treat burns, stabilize fractures and provide appropriate care for other acute injuries.

Airway Management
The seminar covers methods of keeping airways clear and assisting breathing, including the use of ventilators and oxygen.

Emergency medications and medical equipment
Participants receive an introduction to the use of on-board medical devices and equipment, including defibrillators, medical kits and automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

Communication and teamwork
The training emphasizes the importance of clear communication and effective teamwork in emergency situations to ensure a coordinated and rapid response.

The seminar is led by qualified instructors and includes hands-on exercises, case studies and simulations. Participants will have the opportunity to apply their skills in realistic scenarios to ensure they are able to act prudently and competently in emergency situations.
